What does it Mean?

Holding hands...we've all seen it. In fact, if you haven't seen it, it's time to come out of the hole you've been hiding in. You've probably done it at some point in your life, whether it was with a tiny child that needed help crossing the street, or that boyfriend or girlfriend. But what does that stupid link really mean? In my opinion it means absolutely nothing.

We do it for a high. It's a fact. If you are in love with someone, just touching their hand makes you feel all bubbly and happy. It makes you smile. It makes them smile. It makes everyone smile because you two are smiling. Then everyone thinks that if they hold hands with their lover, THEN they can smile just like the couple they saw earlier. But who in the heck started this stupid thing? And why in the heck does it make us smile? Holding hands is disgusting, where in the heck have their hands been? Perhaps that's why it means so much because it's like...umm...here i'm willing to take some of your germs because I love you so much. Have you ever stopped to think, "Gee I wonder if they washed their hands after they went to the bathroom..." It's a trust thing.....but personally i'd prefer to keep my germs to myself and they can keep theirs, cuz enough germs are exchanged when kissing.

Another thing, it's more like a "LOOK!! WE ARE HOLDING HANDS, AND ARE THEREFORE TOGETHER!!!!" It's a statement for the public that means nothing to the individuals.
